Brian joined PGI as Managing Director of Cyber in September 2013, bringing with him deep experience across the breadth of intelligence and cyber operations from 21 years with GCHQ. He left as their Deputy Director for Intelligence and Cyber Operations. Brian is a leading thinker in the area of cyber warfare.

Sebastian Madden

Sebastian Madden, Chief Corporate Development Officer

Sebastian is a former UK senior civil servant with 21 years’ experience of national cyber security issues. Since joining PGI in 2013 he has led our international cyber capability building projects. He was previously a partner in a strategy consultancy firm and specialised in developing government cyber and national security structures. His senior UK government roles included Programme Director to establish UK central emergency response mechanisms and Chief of Staff to the National Security Advisor.

Beth Hepworth

Beth Hepworth, Client Director

Beth joined PGI in 2017 from a strong background in geopolitical and investigative intelligence. Prior to arriving at PGI, Beth founded and scaled a business intelligence company operating in ‘frontier’ markets, including Libya, Egypt, Ghana and Myanmar. She has over a decade of experience supporting both corporate and government clients operating in complex environments and has lived and worked extensively in the Middle East, North Africa and South East Asia.

Keith Buzzard

Keith Buzzard, Chief Technology Officer

Keith joined PGI in 2013 and until July 2021, led PGI’s Incident Response team. Coming from a defensive and offensive digital security background, he has the experience and insight required to direct and advise on the technological elements of digital security strategies. He understands and is able to provide insight into a mix of approaches, including reverse engineering, signature writing, incident response, forensics, penetration testing, solution design, transformation training / mentoring and vulnerability development and has the ability to translate between senior stakeholders and technical operators in a way that aligns with organisational goals and technical reality.
