DDoS Dangers

Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks are growing in strength and number. With the UK being the fifth most DDoS attacked nation in the world you need to understand what they are and how to mitigate the threat.

DDoS attacks can be highly disruptive to organisations and even the mere threat of being attacked has seen businesses pay out ransoms to avoid being hit.

Education on what to look out for can greatly reduce the dangers.

Courses such as PGI’s  Cybersecurity Awareness course   educate people on the basics of cybersecurity and how to spot Phishing emails.

The  Cyber Essentials   Scheme is also an excellent way to defend an organisation. By implementing the measures it suggests you can reduce the cyber threat by as much as 80%.
