Cyber Security Challenge Face-to-Face Competition ...

The results of the Cyber Security Challenge and PGI face-to-face qualifying round are in, and invites have been sent to candidates who achieved the highest scores in the Andromeda and Puppylizer challenges.

Both the Andromeda- network catch analysis and The Puppylizer – web app challenge was designed by PGI’s cyber experts to challenge candidates’ proficiencies in the areas of cyber security. These skills are highly sought after by organisations across the world and the Face to Face will prove the perfect opportunity to prove that they have what it takes to make it in the industry.

The successful candidates have made it through to the Face-to-Face round which will be held at PGI’s pioneering cyber Academy in Bristol, on Saturday February 27.

“Last year, we saw cyber security permeate through all areas of society, and now more than ever we need skilled individuals to join our profession,” said Jim Wheeler Director of Cyber Operations, Protection Group International. “We have designed Puppylizer to really test candidates’ cyber security skills in some of the areas that are currently most coveted by today’s employers, and we’re looking forward to seeing how they fare against what’s in store.”

From gathering evidence to delivering briefings on their findings the challenge will put the contestants through their paces. At the end of the day a winning team will be chosen. The Face to Face begins at 9am and will see contestants be set a variety of tasks designed to test their cyber abilities.
