12 Days of Cyber â Passwords and How to Make a Great One

One of the easiest and most effective ways of protecting your personal information or business from a cyber-attack is to use strong passwords.

Strong passwords are vital to cyber security, as they are often the first things a hacker will attempt to crack in order to gain access to a network. By ensuring that you use hard to crack passwords a hacker may give up on their access attempt. Just like normal criminals, hackers tend to prefer to attack easy targets. If tough defences are in place then they will most likely move onto easier targets.

 According to the experts at PGI Cyber, users have been trained over the years to create long, complex passwords which are almost impossible to remember, yet these passwords are often deceptively easy for a computer system to guess. To prove it, we’ll use the following examples;
